"The room was right in Silverton which is a small town, offering beautiful mountain views and 10 mins from a lake. The carpet of room felt sticky, otherwise everything was there, the fan, blanket and toilet supplies. Price is on higher end."

"What you’d expect for a small mining town, quaint shops, decent eateries, beautiful scenery.The house was not fancy but very comfortable and well equipped, no issues whatsoever getting into the property, cleaner was very friendly. Would definitely recommend for short stays.Very convenient could walk to everything in town and locals were very friendly.Lots to do if you stay a little longer hikes, off roading, train ride to Durango was spectacular, scenic highways etc.There was also a small ski area in the town for winter trips."

"A cool place to utilize as a base camp for your outdoor adventures in the San Juan. A comfortable relaxed environment catering to the hikers, backpackers and travelers. I stayed in both a private room which as well appointed and comfortable and a shared bunk room on my last night of the trip. The shared bunk room was very comfortable and the shared bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletries. I really liked the community feeling of the lobby. Met a ton of thru hikers and others who were in the area to enjoy nature."

"this property was beautiful . . . great location. . . clean and well equipped . . We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about it! The only reason I gave less than excellent for the cost had more to do with the taxing/lodging costs in Silverton which are the second highest in the state and obviously not something the host has any control over.THANK YOU for sharing this wonderful home!"
