Debbie on reception was lovely. We arrived at 10:30pm. We went to the bar where the bartender told us he would have to open the till and we would have only one drink as he was closing, Floor tile cracked on bathroom floor and no facecloths in bathroom. The mattress was very poor quality.

The building was once a school so quite unique as a hotel. The room and bathroom were quite small but comfortable. The restaurant and bar were a different company so it was not possible to charge anything to our room. Breakfast was a ‘farmhouse table’ of homemade sourdough bread, cheese, charcuterie, smoked salmon, Spanish omelette and granola. I enjoyed; my husband emphatically did not. If you look forward to a traditional cooked breakfast, this one is not for you
