East St. Louis Vacation Packages

The property seemed to be very worn.

Indoor pool was like doing the polar plunge. Absolutely freezing. Hot tub was barely room temperature if that much. Biggest reasons we chose this hotel and we couldn't use either one.

This is our 2nd stay at The Cheshire and it might be our last. The carpeting probably hasn’t been cleaned in around 10-20 years. Ok, that might be too harsh but the musty smell in the hallways and also in the rooms is more than likely due to the dirty carpets. The entire place just needs a total, thorough cleaning and some maintenance on the building. The bedframe is terrible in the rooms!! I slammed my toes and knees several times. Tip: wrap bed frame corners with pillows and/or blankets. Bed-sheets are so old and they are see thru. Staff is pretty friendly. Oh, we stayed 3 nights and 2 times our room keys would not work. Told by hotel staff that we must have had our phones next to it. IDK. The hotel bar is another story!! Chris, the bartender, is the best bartender I have ever met!! Tasty drinks and listening to an awesome playlist by Chris. The atmosphere of the place is awesome!! It feels like you’re in a pub in England!!

Everything near by closes early ...eating was difficult but we managed

Chris absolutely made our stay!!!! A great place, wonderful host, breakfast was great. If we go to Hannibal again, this is absolutely the place we will stay!!!!
