Walking distance to beach, restaurants, shops! 10/10 Excellent "What fun it's been to visit here, and what wonderful accommodations! So peaceful and quiet, and an easy drive to anywhere on the island. Had a great time hiking, kayaking, and visiting art galleries. A friend told me to visit the Sanibel Library, and I'm glad I did. Lots of interesting art on the walls, plus plenty of seashell collections. It is the coolest library I've ever seen! I enjoyed many restaurants here, and these were my favorites: Over Easy Cafe, Mudbugs, Gramma Dots and Blue Rendezvous. If you enjoy wildlife, check out the "Ding" Darling Wildlife Refuge which is a National Park. Seniors age 62 can buy the Lifetime Senior Pass for 80 which works for ALL National Parks in the United States! My accommodations were spotless, very clean and organized. All communications were thorough. The best compliment of all: I'd stay here again! Check out the tallest tree near the cottages and notice the osprey nest at the very top.
