Wonderful charm, filled with antiques, location was central to travel, great atmosphere, beautiful historic architecture, exposed beams like stepping back in time,very helpful staff, charming all around in the Center of a small quaint village

The location was perfect for us as we were going to the theatre. (2 minute walk). Walking to town didn’t take much longer and we enjoyed looking around. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and offered advice about where to visit. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and the same for when we went down for breakfast. The rooms are large and clean with a very old English look and feel amenities are very close. The beds are very comfortable soft but firm

Great hotel, beautiful location by a river. Fantastic breakfast, lots of choice and everything was fresh. Highly recommended.

Shower in tub should have bar to hang on to while exiting & entering. Very dangerous as is.

This is a beautiful old historic building. Staff are very courteous and prompt. The grounds around the inn are spectacular. I was a bit surprised there was no AC but fortunately it was not a warm night so we were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay

Lovely, comfortable room in a converted skittles alley. Had a great meal in the restaurant. Went on a 1 1 1/2 hour hike in the morning. Overall, a wonderful stay!
