Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Free coffee and fruit in the AM.

Front desk staff was super helpful and enthusiastic. Smooth check-in, and checkout.

Unfortunately I didn't have the best experience. I am giving them an okay review because they did attempt to make it right. Without the check out employee in the morning; i probably would have gave this a very poor experience. He did take off the resort fee of $35ish & my $18 breakfast. When I arrived; the bathroom had a few gnats. Nothing major. We got back in the room at 11 pm & the bed had gnats in the sheets, pillow, a thick black spider on the ceiling, mosquitos, more gnats & we lifted the pillows. More live gnats. I no longer felt comfortable. I called the front desk & asked if they could come up & spray. I waited 20 min & nothing. I called back & they called housekeeping again. Finally at almost midnight they said they would upgrade us to a bigger room. I can tell you; it was not a good experience. I almost asked myself if I should have kept the other room & slept the couch in the living room area. I went from a city view to the 6th floor. I didnt fall asleep until almost 2 am because they put us in a room with a joining 1 next to it. The family were screaming, partying, kids banging on the wall. I almost called to please have them to tell the neighbor to quiet down as it was 2 am.i went from a quiet city sky view to a very loud room. I definitely would not say that room was better. The 1st room had 2 huge tvs & right by the bed. This room had a TV off to the far left where it was very uncomfortable in bed. Outstanding service & food downstairs for breakfast.

Nice historic hotel close to everything. Room was large and comfortable.

We traveled with four kids. There was a noticeable lack of other children around. However the property was prepared to have them around. There was an entire play room with brand new puzzles and gently used toys to play with. The pool was usually fairly empty so my kids had fun there. The basketball court was generally empty as well. We got a lot of use out of all three spaces. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the coffee shop downstairs was a frequent stop as well.
