"Our comfort room was huge and indeed very comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. The balcony was a nice bonus although it was not private, and with the balcony door open anyone could walk in as the balcony was shared along the whole corridor. The lounge with free tea/coffee was a nice idea but it would be so much better to have a kettle and facilities in the room rather than having to carry hot drinks down a long corridor to the room. Lovely big car park and we had no difficulty charging our car. It’s a good 30 minute walk into the centre of town but it’s a pleasant walk along the canal."

"A stunning hotel, great facilities perfect location. I had a super long walk along the beach, 2 minutes from the hotel and then went for some relaxation at the sauna and steam room. Breakfast was delicious and so much choice. After I checked out of my room I was allowed to use the spa facilities on the top floor and found myself sunbathing on a lounger on the roof, fabulous!!"

Our only complaints are that checking in and out was difficult after booking through Expedia (we weren’t given the reservation numbers which were needed to check in / out on their automated system, and there wasn’t anyone staffing it when we needed to check out), and that the mirror / low lighting situation in the rooms make it difficult to apply makeup. Overall a good experience though!"
