Very friendly and helpful hostess who made me feel really welcome. The property is in a back street in an area that looks very run down. As a single female this would have raised concerns for my personal safety had I been out after dark. Plenty of parking to the rear of the property. The decor in many areas looked tired but was fine in my room which was fresh, clean and tidy. A hairdryer would have been a useful addition. No food is served in the evening but the hostess recommended several nearby places. A tasty cooked breakfast was included in the price. The couple who run it were welcoming and check-in was effortless. Breakfast had a cooked option in addition to cereal etc. which we opted for. We each had a room with en suite which were spacious and clean. AVOID AT ALL COST. The guy we met at the bar/reception was pleasant but we had the most terrible experience during our stay in this hotel. Instead of staying 3 nights, we went home immediately the following morning. We cannot imagine ourselves staying one more night. We were looking forward to a peaceful and relaxing holiday but we had the total opposite in this so called “hotel”. The noise was overwhelming all through the night. The loud music coming from the bar was horrendous including people shouting. There were also a lot of banging of doors. Smoke is also getting inside the room from people smoking near the fire exit. Also, you can barely get a good network using your data and their bad wifi has the worst connection that you cannot even use it. We tried to contact the hotel but unable to reach them, no answer. We escalated it to hotels.com but even them cannot get through to the hotel service. It was a mistake booking this hotel. We totally regret it. We also noticed molds in the shower. We wasted our money for nothing. We cannot even asked for refund as we never had any response from this hotel. There was no one at the reception when we left. Do not make the same mistake we did. Never even attempt to book it, you will surely regret it. We cannot understand how they manage to get good star reviews when in fact, it should be condemned.
