"We had a lovely weekend stay at this country pub with rooms. The owners are lovely and very friendly and welcoming. Its a dog friendly place, so for us, that was perfect. Our room (room 2) was on the ground floor and had a door leading out to the garden, great if you have a dog. The room was a good size and very comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities, tv and a hairdryer. The king sized bed was good and the bathroom was lovely. We ate dinner and breakfast here both days and the food...

"This is a very well managed hotel. It was busy when I stayed. I had a problem, beyond the control of the hotel, but the staff managed it perfectly. I would stay again."

"We booked for a 2 night stay and were made so welcoming and friendly pn arrival. Fabulous room and ensuite beautifully clean and comfortable. Lovely flowers fruit and homemade shortbread made it a special treat. Delicious food and friendly host .Will definitely book again.A must for a quiet break away.This is a littke gem tucked away in lovely surroundings. ."

"Very friendly staff in popular and welcoming village local. We only stayed one night and didn't eat here though the menu looked great. Obviously popular with locals and tourists alike for a small village it was busy on the Saturday night we stayed. Room was clean and comfortable though dated. The bed was a bit older than some but perfectly pleasant. The surrounding area is stunning with plenty to do within a short drive and lots of walking on your doorstep. Overall a most enjoyable stay. "Stayed over for one night passing through on a cycling trip. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful storing and charging our bikes. Only open for B&B but fortunately the local tearoom opens on weekend evenings for meals. Well stocked community shop next door and community pub at the end of the street. Great village and area."

"3 night stay for golfing weekend. Clean and comfortable room. Good size for a single room with double bed. Decent bathroom. Hot shower. All the basic amenities you need. Fantastic breakfast. Couldnt eat all mine. Just a heads up to anyone that the bar is open till 3am on weekends and does get loud. Especially at chuck out time when people are gathered outside waiting for taxis "

"This house is truly brilliant, lots of space inside and out, very clean, lots of supplies and well though out ‘extras’ eg, fire lighters for bbq and log burner, sewing kit, games etc. I had contacted the owners for some other information and their response was immediate and supportive, all very reassuring. The house is in a quiet area of the park, easy access to the beach, neighbours very friendly, and extremely good value for money. I can’t recommend this property enough, and hope to return one...

"The lodge was in a great location for visiting all the local areas. It was comfortable, really clean & well equipped. So much nature to see just at the lodge, lots of bunnies and birds & some inquisitive cows 😊 we had a wonderful stay & would definitely stay again in the future. Also the book-in and check-in process was seamless and communication was great from the host."
