Friendly staff

We traveled here from the states, first time in Ireland. The staff was more than helpful with all of our questions about anything and everything. We were only ever there at night and morning, the rest of the time we were out traveling.

Small Rooms and Not Much Entertainment

The rooms are small and so are the TVs. There is a hotel bar but that is about the only hightlight. That along with the breakfast. The saving grace is the prices were good for a week long stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful, unfortunately the we had difficulty with the heating in the room and the shower temperature.

Great place to stay staff couldn't do enough for us would stay there again . Had 3 young kids and two teenagers with us very relaxed invirment. Food and service excellent

Okay room, good breakfast, poor plumbing.

Location: This hotel is very close to Castletown House.
Our room was okay, but the bathroom has virtually no water pressure and the temperature control is terrible. The breakfast is very nice with a good selection.

Was a great hotel,will definitely be back and will recommend to friends,only thing negative was alarm at 7.30am without asking for it,happened in another family member room as well

A double room was booked a week in advance to my stay and unfortunately I was informed with no apology that the room had been downgraded to a twin room due to a full hotel. (Other single members in the group had booked the at the last minute and was given a double room...) The shower was tiny and had I been a dress size larger I would not have been able to close the door. The water pressure was terrible and the soap dispenser in the shower did not work. That was however quickly addressed when I rang reception. Flushing the toilet was a workout in itself. In spite of the comedy of errors the room service was good and they do know how to make good chips.
