Stayed for one night in the family room with my two children. The room was spacious, even with a double bed and two singles. The en suite was spotless. There were plenty of spare toilet rolls, as well as shower gel and handsoap. The room also had tea and coffee making facilities, a bottle of drinking water, and a lovely touch of a little selection of fudge sweets. There was a safe and hairdryer in the wardrobe. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. It was lovely and quiet throughout the night. No disturbances at all. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice: cereal, fruit yoghurt, homemade brown bread, porridge, local honey, as well as the cooked options of bacon, sausage, egg (any way you like), tomato, mushroom, beans and toast. The fresh coffee was delicious. The staff were excellent. On hand if you needed anything, but also left you to your own devices, which I appreciated. All in all, I would say hotel standard and I will definitely stay again.

Delightful stay for 2 nights. The hosts were so attentive to everything. We had dinner there on Saturday night and would highly recommend. Fantastic food, all local and fresh. A perfect weekend away, beautifully located and conducive to switching off and relaxing.
