The hotel is dirty and outdated, and the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. It took us one hour to do the check in, the hotel still prints paper

This is not the hotels fault but there were people screaming and making noises really late at night. Toiletries would have been nice too.

Nice hotel located minutes from the Duke university. Easy parking by the hotel, very elegant entry way, good amenities, clean pleasant room. All necessary staff to take a shower with. Quiet appliances. Nice breakfast (about $15 per person).

8.2/10 Very good! (1,521 reviews)
Upon entering our first room we had to ask for another room because of the moldy and dog smell. The 2nd room was bigger but the hotel is older and they must allow dogs. It smelled like dog and old carpet. I needed to go to the store and buy a room deodorizer I don't think I would ever come back there or recommend. Was totally unsatisfied.

We booked a king room and got a double? Large gap under the room door. Stained wallpaper. Breakfast vouchers didn't amount to much, it took forever to get our food, then it was frozen in the middle. Coffee was good. Cute, eclectic place, convenient to DPAC. Ms. Evette at the desk was great, but another lady was not.

"The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. My room was clean and request for assistance was met quickly. The location worked perfectly for us as the wedding reception we attended was also in the hotel."
