It was an ecotourism type stay in a mountainous forest with tremendous views. The bedrooms had large doors that allowed it to be open to the front deck area to enjoy views and nature while sleeping. The guest house units seem to be separate and private. I found the natural environment of plants, birds etc surrounding the area to be beautiful. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... The apartment met all our needs. The rooms were of a good size, clean and had air conditioning. The kitchen had full size appliances and was function for cooking and preparing meals. The shower sufficed and had a full size washer. We dried our clothing on the provided line out back. We kept our rental car outside the gate and on close approximate to the apartment. Even the restroom at the reception area was below par for a hotel. To get the rooms, the tiles in the hall are very slippery and sunked in ...be careful when walking down the steps as well. In our room the toilet and the jacuzzi were not working. It was so bad i had to go all the way back to reception to request a room change.The second room smelt really moldy, we tried to air it out but here's where it went wrong. The reception stated that the security guard will bring us a fan to air out the new room, but on whatsapp she stated that i needed to come and collect ....its a good distance from the room. i was turned off by the atmosphere and lack of concern by the staff. I went to check out the same day (this was less than an hour after checking in) and the reception did not even have the courtesy to check me out and said that i should leave to the key with the grounds man. As we were loading the car i could hear the staff mockingly shouting "BYE!" i was really hurt. The pool was so dirty and unkept. I have reached out to Expedia for a refund and i am still unable to get any satisfaction from this ordeal. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE ESPECIAL BECAUSE OF THE MOLDY SMELL, BROKEN FACILITIES AND EXTREMELY UNHOSPITABLE STAFF.
