"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. A taxis worst nightmare . I got charged extra for every taxi I took JUST because of the road . They all informed me that all taxis forbid the road that’s how bad it is . Just a heads up if I would’ve known I wouldn’t have booked because it was stressful . Other than that great stay !"

Die nächste Tauchstation ist knapp 10 Min. entfernt. Im Regenwald und bei den meisten Wasserfällen ist man auch in 20 bis 30 Min. Einen Mietwagen würde ich auf Dominica unbedingt empfehlen. "the advert is a little bit misleading. Pinards Mountain Lodge is not near the sea. It is reachable 10 min from the sea only by car on a rough road. House is a duplex house (Tranquility suite 5 and 6). House is equipped with basic cutlery and a little bit old but has moskito nets at the windows. The area is stunning. "Our family of 5- 20 something grown kids- all scuba divers. We love adventure travel- especially to SCUBA Dive.... and this trip was it.Pinard Mountain Village will pick you up at the airport if you want. If not... Make sure you have a car with clearance... the road up can wash out and has some challenges.They can cook meals for you. Close to Diving.Close to water falls and hot springs.Awesome views."
