District 8 Vacation Packages

There was some sort of daily service but the room wasn't vacuumed and towels not changed for the entiredurationof our stay. It seemd the room attendant would just empty bins and tidy up the room. Water bottle was replenished only on the second day, however there always was a jug with water in the corridor so it wasn't a problem for us.

Great location and friendly customer service.

Firstly the positives. Location is perfect, right in the heart of the Old Town and within walking distance of everything. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious but could definitely do with some improvements and upgrades. The room felt a bit dark and limited natural light, there was no main light in our room only lamps which was a bit strange. The fridge didn’t work. A couple of the mirrors in the room were cracked and could do with replacing. The room just felt a bit basic and dull, no character. The bed was extremely squeaky every time we moved and it felt a bit wobbly. The bathroom was a good size but the shower is very low down which wasn’t ideal as a tall person! On the plus side the room was very clean. Unfortunately we couldn’t have the window open for long as people smoking in the alley below meant the smoke came into our room! Although this can’t be helped by the hotel. The room was very warm with no thermostat to change the temperature. Check in is in a different hotel around the corner which is a bit annoying when walking around with luggage. If you could drop your room key into a box in the hotel without having to check out in the other one that would be good? Overall, a reasonable hotel in a perfect location. Nothing special but good for the price paid. Pretty basic, could do with some redecoration but did the job for a one night stay!

The Hotel was amazing, the views from the Riger breathtaking. Hotel personnel was great, communication with the started since booking, knowledgeable and kind, they were helping all the way. The spa!! Ahh so relaxing. Dont hesitate to book! You won't regret it.

Perfect quite hotel at the foothills of the Alps with a perfect Zurich lake view , wonderful spa and gym, with a jacuzzi in open air, open until 22:00 , I had got a lake view room on the1st floor with the exit to the garden, so I can to do practice straight on the ground, I didn't rent a car so I used Uber it's 20 minutes to the center of Zurich and costs 20-30 CHF .I have a good vacation here and would like to come again.
