"Rooms were clean but outdated. "

"There was clearly some sort of kid party happening at the pool. There were at least 100 kids in the tiny pool, easily over max capacity. The water was murky and it was so loud that if you wanted to say something to the person next to you, you’d have to yell for them to be able to hear you. I’m not overly sensitive to noise but I’m pretty sure the few moments I spent in the pool area caused hearing loss. I’ve been to rock concerts that were quieter. And the hotel staff just let it happen. I had to ask to have the room cleaned again once we got checked in because it was dusty The front desk staff seemed very unprofessional, maybe I just caught her on a bad day but I smiled, was kind and pleasant and she was extremely rude. And I was just checking in! I wasn’t complaining or asking for anything. Then the parking situation, well that was a joke. They have about 50 spots in their garage which of course were full so we had to park in a neighboring garage and pay their prices and walk all the way over. Walnut Creek is a nice area, there is no reason for this hotel to be so trashy. And it’s literally trashy! When we checked in there were people (guests?) eating out front and the next day when we checked out their food and drink containers were still sitting in the ground and in the bushes. No one bothered to throw them away. It was flat out gross. "

"Our stay was very enjoyable. The place is immaculate. The host was so gracious and communicated with us throughout trip. The kitchen is well stocked, and we were able to enjoy incredible meals cooked at home throughout our stay. The pool and hot tub were kept very clean too. I was so happy and felt at home during our stay. There is nothing better than a comfortable and clean Vrbo!! Kudos to our host! "
