"The cabin was great and exactly how it was advertised. We had a great time there. We spent more time at the cabin then expected because the first real cool front blew in the first night of our stay. We didn’t really get to enjoy the Frio river much because of the cool weather. The outdoor fire ring came in very good use. The sky and the stars at night are amazing. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get away and have some much needed peace and quiet time. Thank you very much for the great vacation and hospitality. We will be returning in the future."

"Everything was amazing! Clean room, staff super friendly, and the food was amazing (especially the breakfast). We were there for an event, and the pork chops were the best I've ever had!"

"Lovely Upper Nueces River riverfront property. We were lucky to catch the river in great shape in mid-September—hill country rivers go back and forth between too little flow and way too much flow— so the fishing and hanging out at the river was excellent. The cabin is, as advertised, an older, rustic hunting cabin, but it is well laid out and comfortable, cold ac, very hot water, good covered back porch facing the river valley, lots of hummingbirds and lesser goldfinches and vireos. Four wheel drive is needed to transfer recreational stuff, and definitely older folks, to the river, where there is good shallow and deeper water access, but as long as you’ve got some rugged wheels, it’s a special property, lots of walnut, juniper, oak, and the crystal clear upper Nueces. We look forward to returning."

"House ReviewWe had a wonderful stay! The house is tucked away in a peaceful, private rural area, which was perfect for our family and pets. The river was just a short drive away, and we practically had it all to ourselves! The water was beautiful and perfect for enjoying the day.We had such a great time and would definitely recommend staying here. Christy was also wonderful—she was quick to respond anytime I had questions. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Our family went to Genesis Springs Ranch for my husband's 60th birthday get-away. It was a magical weekend! The accommodations are top-notch with everything you can ever want and more. Our guide, Levi, was extremely knowledgeable with all sorts of amazing animal facts and history. We have never seen such incredible animals - it was like animal kingdom all weekend! Our younger son also went fishing in the amazing ponds and that was unexpected to have such a fun fishing experience also. Will go back as often as possible - star gazing was the greatest we have seen in many years from this property. Gorgeous country - don't pass up a chance to get to go! The oryx we got from the hunt, was massive - such a great time all around!"
