"Very friendly staff in a superb location - opposite the sea. The rooms were very light and bright. The food was excellent. A changing menu of good quality items. Whitebait was the best ever tasted! The staff worked closely as a team to ensure great customer service. Would love to stay again."

"Alnmouth is lovely and we have stayed there a few times, but the frist time in the Hope and Anchor. Room was compact but very comfortable. Breakfast very tasty. Would recommend staying here."

"A really nice hotel. We stayed one night in a family room (family of 4 with 2 teenage girls). The room was spacious and well laid out. It was clean and modern. Both check in and check out were quick and easy and the staff were really friendly. We used the hotel restaurant and bar which was super convenient after 2 weeks of travelling. All in all this place far exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Alnwick."

"We had a better than anticipated stay with the hotel has relatively new interior with welcoming staff. It was a good value choice with swimming pool where we drove there so the location is never the problem. The place do feel extremely clean and the Buffett breakfast is good and well organised. The only slight disadvantage is the water pressure of the shower is not the best. "
