« This apartment is tucked away on a nice quiet street, with a friendly pub half a street down. The level of cleanliness in the property was some of the best I have seen; you can clearly see that the owner cares about her business and customers! We had a lovely stay and got lots of activities done, from a boat tour in seahouses (40min drive) to see seals and dolphins, to an audio tour of warkworth castle (10min drive) and many other things along the way. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!...

« Property is well located and beds are comfy. It was very cold in the property when we arrived as the thermostat had been turned to 10 degrees and there were no matches to light the fire. The whole property felt like it needed a bit of a refresh.....walls marked, some mirrors cracked, doors & handles chipped, kitchen equipment mismatched and well used, some kitchen equipment broken, dining room chair broken and not usable. The shower has a slanted roof so not ideal as you have to duck to prevent...

« We had a wonderful stay at this awesome property! Super comfortable and family friendly! Just an FYI, there is a washer but not a dryer, not a problem as they have a drying rack. Also the King bed is actually a double but it was plenty for us! »

« My wife and I spent a very pleasant week at Cygnet Cottage, using it as a base to explore the Northumberland Coast and local area.This particular accommodation is ideal for a couple. The living area is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen equipment all worked fine and there was an adequate supply of crockery, cutlery, and tools. The bathroom was small but perfectly usable with a decent, electric, shower. Upstairs was the bedroom with good storage facilities and a comfortable double bed...

« Lovely comfy cottage located in an ideal location for accessing Northumberland Coastline and Moors. Local amenities are great with the town of Morpeth less than 10 minutes away. The pub 100m from the cottage is a great local pub with good food and friendly staff. The quality of everything in the cottage is great, the hot tub and log burner are also fantastic and allowed for a very relaxing stay.We will definitely be back in the future. »

« Lovely property, decorated in a lovely way although strong smell of fish downstairs that would not go. The fridge smelt of fish and not sure if this was the issue or the damp and mould on some of the walls.The beds were not super comfy but fine for a few nights. « This is a smashing 2 bedroomed flat, tastefully decorated and with everything at hand for a very comfortable stay. The property has its own parking space in a yard at the back with a rickety path down to a fast flowing stream of water attractive and dangerous to my Spaniel.... The only inconvenience was the walk down the road to a place suitable for my Dog to do his business. Other than that it's a winner. »

"The staff were very friendly, and the location is dreamy – Seahouses is a charming seaside town with a lively main street, easy access to pubs, and the inn’s restaurant has a genuinely lovely view of the sea. Unfortunately, the room experience was very disappointing. Our room (39) was cramped, with stuffy air and no real comfort. Instead of the second double/sofa bed described, we were given a bunk bed – not at all what we expected, and a very unpleasant surprise. To make things worse, the room was at street level, looking out directly onto an unattractive parking lot and intersection, rather than the sea view we had hoped for. For the price and reputation, I expected much more. While the staff and location deserve praise, the accommodation itself fell far below expectations."
