Beachfront Resorts & Hotels in Monroe County

"It was a nice resort but a lot smaller than what I thought it would be. The pictures online are somewhat deceiving. The rooms, to me, weren’t “resort like”, they were just basic hotel/borderline motel rooms with average furnishings. I was hoping there would be a nice restaurant, but there wasn’t, just bars with sandwiches, burgers and what-not. The food and drinks were good though. I’m really not sure what the $50/day resort fee was for because nothing was outstanding and there was one day our room didn’t even get cleaned. The cleaner popped by around 7 that night and asked if we wanted service but at that time of day why bother? One of the elevators was broken so that left one for everyone to use and at times it was pretty slow. I did like the shuttle that took us downtown, that was a nice perk, and I liked that there was a Starbucks on property. Would I stay here again?……honestly, I would probably look for something else. "

"Beautiful resort, lots of pools so no problem finding chairs. Beautiful grounds. Would not recommend all inclusive as the restaurants are not great and there are so many really good options in Marathon. "

"AMAZING! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The property is beautiful and very clean. The beach is very cute and you have the option to do water sports. There are so many nooks and crannies to hang out on the beach and relax. Food was great. Will be back soon! "

"Our rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with what appeared to be recent renovations—fresh paint and supportive beds that didn’t sag. The breakfast each morning was excellent, and chefs Chris and Jose were especially warm and accommodating, making the experience even more enjoyable. We loved that our rooms faced the beach—waking up to the sunrise each day was truly special. The saltwater pool was pleasantly warm, and there were always plenty of lounge chairs available. We also ordered drinks and lunch daily, and everything we tried was consistently very good."

"It was nice to have some sand and hammocks were great, but everyone smoked and it was hard to enjoy at times. The tortugas, sharks and birds were cool and tons to do right out of the resort. Away from the hustle of Duval. Breakfast was basic and the same every day, it was a great time!!"
