"Lovely hotel the room.was perfect for myself and 2 kids. Only thing i wasnt happy about was when i booked there was no mention of a £50 returnable deposit taken when paid for the night. This left me a little on the short side for the 2 days. They released the deposit after check out but said it mite take up to 5-7 days til i see it back in my bank. Parking was a charge of £10 which i think is a bit steap considering i paid £167 for the 1 night !!Apart from that it was a lovely stay with complimentary breakfast."

"We found The Resident an ideal base for a few days exploring Liverpool. Friendly staff, clean room, and a great central location which is in easy walking distance from the whole city centre area. I expect we'll be back next time we visit the city!"

"Stayed many times in this hotel always enjoy my stay rooms nice and clean , beds comfy .and staff friendly . Close to Chester and its shops etc. Good value especially with pool facilities but tending to look a bit dated now ."
