"Reception was smooth and friendly. The bar area was spacious and inviting. Cleanliness throughout was excellent. Room was functional, had everything needed for a pleasant stay. Bed comfortable, a good nights sleep, generally quiet for a hotel in a popular area. I would definitely return."

"This is probably the best 3 star hotel i have ever stayed in! The lication was grwat. 8 minutes from the train station, 5 minutes from the town centre, 14 minutes from the museums and Albert Dock. ( we are early 60s so dontvwalk quickly). The hotel bar and redeption are wel, decorated andvthe staff very accomodating. There was a lift to all floors so it doesn't matter which floor you are on. It is on a main bus route and busy road but the noise is minimal ( we stayed Wednesday and Thursday nights). There was no noise after 11pm. We booked bed and breakfast, the food was very good. A fantastic selection of pastries, muffins, cereal, fruit and yoghurt alongside the full English breakfast. All of the items we tried were cooked to perfection and good quality. All food was topped up regularly and staff were attentive. We would definitely stay again."

" Lovely hotel in a beautiful old building which has been converted into the hotel but kept all the amazing features of the old architecture. Our room was lovely and clean. Bed and pillows very comfy. Breakfast buffet was good with choices of hot English breakfast or cold continental and a choice of pastries too. Short walk to either the river or into the lively area of Matthew St where there are lots of bars with live music. A great hotel. Would stay again if we visit Liverpool again. "
