"This is a great place to stay with a pub close by owned by the same family. The lodges are beautifully designed and well furnished. The main bedroom is very spacious with a generously sized bed; the bed settee was also used during our stay and made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. The host was very welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed visiting the pub whilst we were there. It’s an easy drive to either Newry (where we were visiting family) or Carlingford and the Greenway. True "old world charm" in a fairytale garden setting. Michael couldn't have been more helpful and even made sure we were out the door on time for our Newgrange tour. Wish that we could have stayed longer. AWESOME breakfast!

It was our last night in Ireland and we had the most beautiful stay. We were upgraded to the Primrose Cottage for no extra cost and had the most amazing suite. Beautiful land with a Castle and old church ruins.

Our stay was amazing - the food was so delicious. We would highly recommend this place to stay while you visit Ireland - perfect driving distance to Dublin.
They were also very helpful in letting us know things to see while in the area but also when we left headed to Limerick gave us excellent things to see on the way.
The owner and staff went over and above 😁👍

We could not have asked for a better stay at Cabra Castle. The castle and grounds are absolutely stunning; we felt so relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We had a room in the courtyard, and were very satisfied with the room, which was gorgeous and definitely had an authentic castle feel. We did have a bit of a problem with wasps in the room; however, when we inquired at the front desk, they sent a Porter up right away to get rid of the wasps. And when more wasps came in, they...

What a super place!! You think it's out of the way well you need to think again. So close to the lovely oceanside town of Skerries. If you don't go to the local Man O War pub you are missing out on a true Irish pub experience from the 1500's. The other thing that most people don't realize for under 5 euro you can take the train nearby and be in Dublin within 20 minutes. John and staff were super helpful. He even jump started our rental car whose battery ran dry. If you don't stay here you are...

We landed in Dublin and got our rental car at the airport. Headed easily North to Trim, if you are new to euro driving like I was, I recommend this route. The hotel over looks Trim Castle and is amazing. Would recommend asking for the patio room that lets you sit and gaze at the castle. The entire staff was great, so friendly. The morning staff at breakfast was fabulous, hard working group of people. Rooms were clean, showers were great, no complaints!

The hotel was clean, the rooms. Free parking was great. The breakfast buffet was SECOND TO NONE. The food was unbeatable, really great breakfast options and could make a sandwich for traveling. We were international Travellers and they accommodatedb us in a heartbeat when we asked if there was a possibility of a fridge. We had it in our room in the 10 minutes it took us to unload our suitcases. Amazing experience, great rooms, really good food

Great place to stay if you are in the area. Easy parking, fantastic staff and rooms. On-site restaurant is great. If you intend to eat breakfast, rebook it with your room, if possible.

We loved this place and wish we could stay a lot longer. However one young man at reception was less than helpful, he sent us the long way to the casual dinning area even though I walk with a cane. The room was amazing we really made the most if the hot tub. The rest of the staff made up for the weird awkwardness of the one fellow and we thought the oppulance of the place was charming, we even made friends with some dogs after dinner.
