« Isolated location but convenient for hiking, fishing, etc. Cottages are well constructed and comfortable. Try to get one a bit away from the restaurant. Good choice for younger travelers looking to enjoy the outdoors; not so much for older people with any mobility issues. »

« We stayed for a few days and a family of five it accommodated all of us with beds and space. It was a wonderful stay,the staff was helpful to let us know places and things to do as well as getting extra towels or anything. The area is beautiful too! Definitely a must stay spot if you need a place to stay in the area! Oh and the fact it’s 5 mins from the Calaveras redwoods was awesome! »

« On dirait que les responsables ne veulent pas s'embêter avec les clients.Ils sont traités comme quantité négligeable.Peut-être est-ce un hôtel valable pendant l'hiver mais il est à éviter en été.Pas de service de chambre,pas de petit déjeuner,pas même du café dans la chambre,pas de renouvellement des serviettes de bain,pas de wi-fi sauf dans le batiment principal.Un seul magasin d'alimentation peu achalandé,aucune activité dans le soi-disant "village".TOUT EST FERME Bref:Etablissement à fuir !!! »

« The Creekside Inn is basic, but in Alpine County, if that's where you want to be (and it offers incredible outdoor opportunities and natural beauty year-round!), basic is pretty good. It's quiet, and not at all as pricey as most of the alternatives (of which there are very few). Fabulous restaurant, Stonefly, across the street, is open for dinner Th-Sun. We haven't tried the hotel next door as an alternative for dinner M-W, but that's basically your only option. For decent coffee, there is Mad...

« Over all a nice, clean studio. Only negative is it advertised access to a private lake. Upon arrive lake, we were asked to leave since the homeowners association hasn’t paid dues. So, no private lake.Host Jamie was very nice and was there on property for the stay. »

« The cabin was advertised as 4 bedrooms but it only has 3 bedrooms. When contacting the host, they said the 4th bedroom was the living room. Consequently, some people in our group had to sleep on the air mattress and it was soaked in urine which made them smelled terrible waking up. In addition, the BBQ grill was full of rust and dust and falling apart as we tried to clean it. The porch area was also really dirty making us spent half an hour to clean it. There was also dirt on the pillow covers...

« Such a cozy and welcoming home after a family day at Big Trees. The Little Red Cabin had everything we needed for a quick vacation with our family. All of the details were thought of, heated bathroom lights with an amazing shower and all the kitchen appliances we needed to have meals in. Such a sweet place, we look forward to visiting again. »

« Great property and staff is very communicative! Easy to check-in/check-out. We were late to check in and had an issue with the lock accessing our keys. We could reach out to them easily, and staff was there to help in 5-7mins. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a group stay. »
