Following the river up Ebbets Pass....only to find the road is still snowed in.
Upper Kinney Lake is just off the PCT off HWY 4, between Markleville Ca, and Bear Valley. Fantastic short backpacking trip for over night camping or great day hike for a loop of lakes in the High Sierra off Ebbetts Pass on HWY 4. Looking for a day adventure in Alpine County or within an hour of South Lake Tahoe.
