Smokey smell in the room tarnished stay

Posted 21-Aug-2015
Pros: Location and service very good.
Cons: Room 3l5, and perhaps a few others need to be the subject of serious ventilation.
Location: Lots of good restos and shopping very close by.
Great hotel but for the smoke smell in the room. I had a friend also staying at the hotel at the same time. He also complained of the smell of 'smoke' in his room. This smell did not appear to originate from someone previously smoking in the room, but is something wrong with the air circulation in the building. Too bad, otherwise a great location and excellent service.

Boutique hotel

Great hotel in the middle of Denver Metro. A lot of nice restaurants ranging in $-$$$ in the area. The staff were all very knowledgable and helpful regarding amenteties and the area itself. Onsite offers great food options, and a burger winner.

In my opinion this is not a five star hotel. The price was just to high. Don't get me wrong the hotel is in a nice part of downtown. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast was kind of high. $5 for a small glass of orange juice was out of order. $15 dollars for French toast is just plain wrong. Other than that it was a nice clean hotel.

Best boutique hotel in Denver

Posted 17-Aug-2015
The staff at Hotel Teatro are unarguably some of the best in the business. From the dining room to the coffee shop and the front desk and especially the drivers. They go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The decor is adorable and the beds almost so comfy you don't want to get out of them. We will be back. One of our favorite hotels yet. A real gem! Right in the middle of it all!

Awesome hotel in heart of Denver Lodo!!

Posted 15-Aug-2015
Pros: Cleanliness of hotel and friendliness of staff.
Cons: Not a thing I can think of!
Location: Within a couple of blocks of the 16th street mall, the Pavilions, the Convention Center, and Larimer street. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff. The hotel was very clean and accommodating, and the location was perfect for exploring the heart of downtown Denver on foot, or by car, metro, or pedicab. The fitness room was a bit smaller than expected, but we were doing so much outdoor activity that we didn't end up needing to use it. The prices for valet and the hotel restaurant, Nickel, were a bit expensive, but there is a parking garage literally right next to the hotel, and more restaurants, both local and chain, than you could ever experience in one trip to Denver all within a very short walking distance, so you weren't stuck with the cost of either unless you preferred to be.

Great Option for Denver Stay

Posted 8-Aug-2015
I booked this hotel through an Expedia 24-hour deal. The room was surprisingly spacious, nice amenities, clean, comfortable bed, excellent wifi, friendly and professional staff. The location is great in easy walking distance to many restaurants and the Pepsi Center. The only one thing to keep in mind is that if the room is facing 14th Street, there will be a certain amount of street noise (didn't bother me).

Great location one block from Larimer Square. Hotel has bikes you can borrow and ride all over town. Close to Cherry Creek bike path. Bar is nice.

Not a 4-start as advertised

Posted 4-Aug-2015
Pros: Lobby is quaint.
Location: Only a couple of blocks to 16th street shopping, close to Cherry Creek Running Trail
This is the first time I am booking a VIP+ Expedia hotel. It was disappointing experience. Not sure what the "VIP" experience was suppose to be. I have not heard of this hotel before and selected it because of the VIP option. I would definitely go for hotel brands I am familiar with next time. The valet service was prompt and friendly. Check in was just just ok, lackluster. The room is tiny. The A/C is free standing and loud. The bathroom is also tiny. Bath and shower hardware is not what I would expect for a 4 star. The thing that switches from shower to faucet was loose.
