Dentsville Vacation Packages

The outside of thr hotel and the area doesnt look great, but once you walk in, it is beautiful, trendy, and welcoming. The staff was excellent. Very attentive and kind, great customer service. The building is old, I get that, but it didnt feel as nice or as "renewed" as the previous reviews made it seem. Our room felt like an after thought, rather than a planned room. And the furniture wasn't great. It seemed very cheap and like it was falling apart. The cabinets, also. The bathroom door was a sliding door that didnt shut all the way, it was way too small for the door space. And while everything seemed like it had been cleaned on the surface, there was a lot of mold in the shower and it seemed like it had been painted or caulked over a few times instead of cleaned well or fixed. The bed was extremely comfortable and seemed very clean, but I just didnt feel comfortable there. The lobby is great for photos. And the staff is amazing. But the upkeep and cleaning needs to be focused on. The location is fantastic and I think it has potential. But some much needed repairs, updates. And cleaning could make thisnplace worth the 5 star review. I noticed some reviews mentioned it was great for couples. Im not really sure why it said that. There was nothing better or worse for anyone, let alone couples.

What a great place to stay. My wife & I stayed for one night on the way to Charleston, and wish we could have stayed another. What a quaint & cozy hotel, with a great bar, a friendly staff/bar tender, and great food. The hotel is a refurbished fire station with a lot of memorabilia and nostalgic pictures. We will be back.

The hotel is well located in downtown Columbia, SC. It is clean, well maintained and the staff is very personable and helpful. The only issue I had was the hot water in the bathroom sink took 5 minutes to get hot. Thankfully the shower did not take that long. Everything else about the hotel was excellent and I would definitely recommend it to others.
