"The room was clean and the parking was fine. The room had one little desk and a swivel desk chair. There was no place to put things down except the floor. There was no place to sit except the bed. The bathroom fixtures are so old the finishes are worn off. The tub doesn't drain unless you manually pull up the stopper - water up to your ankles. The shower head is 20 years old. Only one little garbage pail in the bathroom. Unless I hear of a reno I will not stay there again. So disappointing for a place that we really enjoyed years ago. Hilton is supposed to be better than this."

"What a fascinating, beautiful property! This home retains its historical heritage, and yet is comfortable in every way. A great place for a dog to run free and explore and stay safe. The breathtaking views of the bay, sunrise to sunset, the beach where you can search for treasure, the parade of crab boats as they leave at dawn, the charm of the historical remnants in the home, make it a truly magical place to visit. Any questions we had were promptly addressed by the owner, and we got a fun welcome by Patty to show us the ropes when we arrived. A rare and memorable experience."

"Beautiful cozy cabin! The sunsets are stunning. We were able to kayak from the property along the beautiful creek. The cabin is close to chincoteague but has a more relaxing feel than staying in town. "

"Property was exactly as pictured, Crystal is very prompt if contacted & very accomdating to questions. If you are looking in ng for some quiet peacefulness yet close to the water, or nearby towns & attractions & travel with your dog this is the perfect spot! My dogs were very content & I had no worries as to if they would be bothered by distractions because there are no distractions, it was a vacation for them as well as cottage is on a quiet street & it was very nice to sit outside wuth them & have them enjoy the tranquility as well. Dishes, cups, coffeemaker & even washer & dryer made it a very nice stay. Gas & groceries are 5 mins away, we enjoyed our stay & I would love to stay in the cottage again. Also just unser q0.mins away we had a delicious dinner at The Waters Edge with a very affordable menu, the next night we enjoyed the grill out back & it was nice to have the convenience of both dining out & in!"

"They did not tell us until after we got there that they always boil the water when they stay there. There were things there that other guests complained about that they never changed. The water wasn't even turned on , so obviously the place wasn't cleaned. The were good about refunding our money."
