Accessibility for an elderly grandparent was the only issue- the 1800’s era stairs are narrow and steep, so extra care and assistance was needed to make sure a fall did not occur."

"Second trip from CA to visit homeland of OH with my son and daughter. We love the location for visiting family in Kettering, Centerville, Mason, Cincinnati, and Beavercreek. We fished in the pond, catching large mouth bass and blue gills by the dozen (then release). I have nothing but great things to say about the Host & his family. "We stayed here for a girls trip and attended events occurring at the UD arena. The home was great! Met all of our needs. Host was easy to reach as needed. The beds are a little on the harder side but overall well worth it for each of us to have our own rooms for events in Dayton. Would stay here again!"

"Very clean but older than the pictures indicated. Appreciated the budget stay though for the one night and convenient location to the Air Force museum!! If you're a coffee drinker bring your own things. "We stayed for two nights, and enjoyed the place. Location - it's fine. It was *not* a sketchy neighborhood as one or two reviews mentioned. If you come from downtown you'll go through bad neighborhoods, but it's not in a bad neighborhood itself. It was hard to find as it's in the back of a building, so you don't see the address number from the street. The great news is that you're 15-20 minutes max from all the great things in Dayton, and if you want regular-fare food and shopping, that's like...

"This is an ensuite bedroom with a private entrance. It is clean, well maintained and quiet. The bedding is nice and the towels are thick and absorbent. There is a kitchenette that includes a small refrigerator, microwave and a combo (choose grounds or pod)coffee maker. The hosts have added a few light snacks as well as several coffee pods. What a nice touch!"
