"Late arrival was no problem and we were able to store our luggage after check out to finish touring the town. Staff made sure someone helped us up the stairs with our luggage and were willing to provide all we needed. The only thing that was tricky was half our bed was lopsided, so my husband felt he was falling out of his side."

Make sure you arrive in good time to check in early, and double-check what the morning process is for leaving - main pub remained locked and egress was through the rear fire escape - noone in sight so left key in room. The room was lovely - really well laid out, roomy, and clearly well-thought out; lots of little things that made the place really nice. Weak spot was the bathroom - doesn't have a proper door. Be aware you will be asked for a deposit by bank transfer which was not highlighted on Expedia - it worked fine and was transferred back to me within 24 hours. Nothing nearby, aside from Aldi. "
