The staff were wonderful. Unfortunately our bedroom had an issue which meant we had little sleep. But this is a lovely hotel despite that. Rooms recently redone was a very comfortable stay. Staff were friendly particularly the guy who worked Sunday and all day Monday! Great that we could park, bar was good, everything was clean and we had a nice breakfast. Plus we had a great 2 nights sleep. Not too noisy and very well priced. Parking is a bonus as it is close (within 10 min walk) of the castle. Breakfast was good, staff were really nice. We were in room 8 on 2nd floor, no issues with any noise from the pub. Wish the bathroom window could be opened to get a through breeze as it was warm at night. I've rated The King's Head Inn as excellent as it was perfect for what I wanted; 3 nights short stay in Warwick with a friend that gave value for money and only 5 minute walk to the centre of town. On-site Spanish themed restaurant looked good, though circumstances meant that we ate elsewhere in the evenings. Beer was kept well. Typical English breakfast was very nice. Room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable; pillows were o.k. Water pressure in the shower was a bit variable. What a fabulous stay at this old pub, just outside the town but within easy walking distance from pubs, the town and castle. The owner and all staff were so friendly and helpful, we liked the way they interacted with guests and locals alike, they made you feel so welcome. The place itself is not very big and has character. We liked this as it had a fantastic ambience with guests and locals mingling. It promotes the columbian nationalitiy of the owners wife in the eating section, we had the tapas and it was delicious and resonably priced. The drinks were not over priced either. There is car parking at the side which is secured with cameras and an outside sitting area which was nice with the hot weather. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. There are a number of stairs to go up so anybody mobilty impaired may struggle. We stayed and drank at the pub on the Saturday night and had a fantastic time. We had an upgrade to the four poster room which was lovely. Very quirky and it was a large room. Breakfast was lovely. The Rumba restaurant was great with a Mexican theme. Free parking and very close to the centre.
