The hotel is modern, the room is properly laid out and spacious, beds are comfy, bathroom/shower area is awesome, love the towel warmer. The location is accessible and near to bus and train station, During night time, the areas around the hotel is well lit. and most importantly, Staffs are friendly and helpful.

The location is ideal – right in the city centre. Excellent breakfast. The hotel has its own large paid parking for £17 per day. The rooms are a bit dated. Outside, it was extremely hot during our trip. The room's built-in air conditioning, despite being set to the lowest possible setting (+18°C), was blowing hot air. The windows wouldn't open, making it impossible to sleep.

The castle was a true castle and maintained well. The staff is every area we’re kind and friendly. This is a very nice place to enjoy adult only accommodations and my wife and I would stay here again if ever in the area. Food was also top quality and served as if you were at a 5 star restaurant.

Stayed there for a wedding. The room didn’t feel clean when I came in. The bathroom floor was wet. I found hair in the room that want mine. There was no complimentary water bottle on the first day (it was there on the second day) and the windows didn’t open on the warmest days. The grounds are beautiful but also service was a bit slow as there were many wedding parties and guests.
