« From my first message, Shawn was very responsive. Check in was a breeze. Directions were perfect and everyone including neighbors were all friendly. Great location and so many things to do at Rumbling Bald Resort. The highlight was the bears we saw. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are still rebuilding from the devastation of Hurricane Helene last year, so I hope more people will visit. « We had such a good time during our stay at The Spruce House! The fenced-in back yard was such a relief for us to sit out with our dogs and let them play. It is 10-20 minutes from anywhere you want to go and they had about anything you might need so when you get there you can just relax.I had seen from a previous review that the doors did not have curtains, so we took our own sheets to hang over, there were no issues and we hope to be able to stay again when we make our next trip. »

« I echo other reviews in that the home was beautiful and comfortably accommodated our whole crew of 11. While the lake is drained, we still had a wonderful time and the views are gorgeous. It is not too far from Ingles, to fully stock the fridge and cook at home with all the lovely kitchen amenities available. The resort options were fun (slight note that putt putt is not included) but the pools and fitness centers were great additions. Definitely recommend! »

« This site is in a good location and amenities. Condo was clean and the owner very responsive to any questions. It's a short drive from both local activities and Asheville. Additionally, there are some really good restaurants just around the corner with a five-minute drive. Very pleased with our stay! »
