« The only good thing I can say about this property is that the towels were thick and absorbent. Everything else was terrible!!! I don’t know how they got an 8.8 rating! The railing on the steps was broken and that should have been our first clue as to how bad this place is. The first thing was that it was difficult to get the TV to work. The remote was so old you couldn’t read what the buttons were. I went to the front desk and the girl did get it to work. The last person had changed the setting....

« A tiny cottage… yes it was, but very nicely maintained, clean, comfortable and oh so Peaceful! So beautifully quiet at night. A bon fire each night when I was there. Welcoming for my dogs. The owner was so friendly… very nice …personable to speak with. I did enjoy my stay. Very relaxing. Minutes to downtown Cape Charles. »

« We have stayed at many bed and breakfast homes and Baywood was by far the best. We had a waterfront balcony room that had an absolutely beautiful view of the bay. The host , Mike , was wonderful, very welcoming and accommodating . Excellent bountiful and delicious breakfast was served . »

« The view was great and the room would have been great also, except there were hardly any paper products, there was a queen size bed instead of a king size (the host has corrected this error on their listing). The location was fantastic. Really just need a king size bed for my 6'6" hubby, especially on our early anniversary trip :( »

« Clean, bright, cute house! Beds were comfortable and AC was great. Great location in short walking distance to beach, restaurants and shopping. Host Chip was very quick to send details, check in on trip and offer any help. 5 star house and host! Thank you Chip and family. »
