"The hotel is proudly old-fashioned. I might be mistaken, but I don't think it has been bought up (yet) by the Marriott or Hilton chains. The room had spacious proportions and a dazzling selection of alcohol on display. There is the general feeling that this is a special place. "

"Room, breakfast, easy access to TV stations (unlike most hotels), easy check-in and efficient airport shuttle. However, I was unable to reach the front desk from my room. I called “guest services” several times and it just rang forever. I was trying to get a forgotten hygiene item and to ask why, when the temperature is 12 degrees (-10 with the windchill), the heating unit in my room only put out cold air."
