« There's no question that the apartment is dated but it was clean, warm and there was hot water. The kitchen equipment needs refreshing (no utensils like a fish slice or slotted spoon) but we managed fine. It's really the details that need addressing - we had a lamp without a bulb and the bathroom extractor and light fittings need a good clean. But for the price it's fine. There was a lot of noise from the adjoining property during our stay. »

« Apartment was spotless, for a central location it was incredibly peaceful. The overall appearance is beginning to look a little shabby, and all needs a little TLC. Toilet flush broken...main bed very wobbly. »

« This is a great property, in a fabulous location close to the centre of Windermere.The pre-arrival communication was outstanding - undoubtedly the best of any Vrbo property that we have stayed in, leaving nothing in question, but with easy communication to the owner/agent if anything was required.Well equipped, spacious with ample on-site parking. A great rental, in a fabulous old house with history and character.I cant recommend this highly enough »

« AVOID This flat is in a building which is in the process of being renovated. The building is empty, has insecure front doors; there is debris scattered all over the back of the property; there is no lighting around the entrance or car park. Unsafe. Difficult to find due to building not being labelled, due to being renovated. Property Host was not there to meet us and was going to be over an hour late. UTTERLY MISLEADING ADVERT »

« The location was excellent as very central for all shops, restaurants and the lake. The only issues we had were firstly it took a while to find our apartment as although we were given instructions for parking there were no details provided of how to access the flat and we later found out that we had to cut through a restaurant. Not ideal. Also we found the property very hot and although the bedrooms had ceiling fans the lounges area did not and could get uncomfortably hot at times. Could...
