« It was small but had everything I needed. An instruction book for the combi oven/microwave would have been handy, and a rail to hang my clothes on. Very good shower. I did have problems locking the door from both the inside and outside. Great views, even though it was on the A66 it was very quiet. »

« We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful property in the Lake District. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The location was perfect: peaceful and secluded, but only a short drive (or a long, scenic walk!) to some amazing views, great pubs, and some fantastic hiking trails. We loved being able to set off on foot and find hidden tarns and breathtaking views without even needing the car.Inside, everything was spotlessly clean and incredibly...

« We stayed for 5 days and It was absolutely exceptional, views from front and rear are amazing , the rooms were immaculate the location was central to all areas , weather was perfect, visited many places in the Lake District but the Rose Cottage was by far the best 10/10from us & we will be back Alistair , Clare , Sue »
