"We are senior citizens. The stairs weren't age-appropriate for us, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the house and view. We were there for the peaceful atmosphere. We did go into Dover, toured the Visitors Center (great) and the fort (beautiful and interesting). A complete message was written in the guest book and left by the TV."

"This was the perfect place to stay for our weekend in Tennessee for a family wedding. The neighborhood was quiet and very nice, and the home is located near so much. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the back porch looking at the roses in bloom. The house was very clean, linens soft, and towels luxurious! "

"The pool was not heated, and the beds were not as stated in the application!!!! They said it had 3 twin beds in the pink room, but it actually had 2 beds in there and 2 twins in one of the rooms. 9 people had to use the Master's bedroom bathroom to shower, because 1 of the tubs was stopped up. The floor mattresses that we were asked to use were dirty and spotted. Like liquids had dropped on them and no one wanted to sleep on them. Garbage cans were filthy as if no one had done a full cleaning. The manager was angry that I complained and was upset and asked if I would leave if I were not happy the day before the scheduled time to leave after 5pm. I called her several times when I noticed everything going wrong to be moved and she stopped answering her phone. I told her not to be upset but to use my complaints for informational purposes to correct things before the next guest. But overall, the amenitiescand the place was beautiful with acception of all the things needed to be corrected."
