« The accommodation is a 5 minute drive out of Barnard Castle where there are plenty of options for a bite to eat plus essential shopping. Everything worked properly and was clean and smart. The bed was comfortable. »

Nice bathroom with shower over bath and plentiful hot water. Beds really comfortable and loads of space upstairs. Underfloor heating in lounge was a treat and wood burner lovely on a cold February night. Enclosed front garden, made it easy for the dogs and would be nice to sit out in the summer. « We have had a lovely four day stay at the cottage which was very enjoyable. The cottage was immaculate and very well furnished and cosy with a very welcome log burner for the cooler evenings. The welcome pack was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated and was in an ideal location for walking/ cycling and quite a few good pubs nearby for meals /drinking we will certainly be back. « Well this booking was made on the whole purpose of having a relaxing weekend after running 350km for charity over the past few months. So we booked here for the hot tub and the relevant ease of running a Park Run on the Saturday. After running this Park Run we returned back to the accommodation for our day of in and out of the hot tub. Although this turned out to be turned off so we had an ice bath, not advertised on the website. We then were told that we would get a nights refund for this...
