"We had a wonderful stay at Kitty’s cottage. The cottage is so homely and feels really welcoming. It’s lovely and warm, even when the weather outside was freezing. It was super clean and very well equipped. We loved walking on the beach, which is only moments away, with such beautiful views. Driving over Galloway forest park, we stopped to feed the goats and deer, which was wonderful. You need to take your own carrots or other fruit / veg to feed them. "Beautiful location with lovely, comfortable accomodation. The night staff were very friendly, accomodation and helpful on our arrival. We felt very welcome. However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy!"

"A lovely hotel right on the seafront with a beautiful view of the Isle of Arran from the dining room. We had two rooms for several days..comfy beds and relatively quiet but our outlook very poor in one of them which was a pity. The evening meals were very good and the staff attentive but breakfasts seemed pricey if not included. Swimming pool an added bonus. Location of hotel near to Ayr centre so good location"
