"Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms"
"After a day on the beach we were so pleased to arrive at this gorgeous gastro pub with rooms. Beautiful, and comfortable rooms with lovely style and welcoming touches, and our dog was welcomed happily and given her own bed and there was even a dog shower area outside. Dinner outside was delicious and a great breakfast menu too, traditional and healthy options also. Thoroughly recommend and hope to come back. "

"I had a lovely peaceful stay at the Lodge, which was very clean and had everything I needed. There are beautiful walks to be had directly from the Lodge and wonderful dark skies with shooting stars to be seen and Owls to be heard!Jon and Tanya were very helpful with good communication. "Cosy and quiet, with everything you need for a short stay. Rather than eat in we recommend The Unicorn pub, only a few minutes away by car. Tanya and Jon were very responsive to a small problem we encountered and it was fixed very promptly. "
