Lovely room, comfy bed. Comfortable room and good food in the restaurant. Helpful and friendly staff. The dinner was excellent from the food to the service! The room was comfortable and clean with tea & coffee supplied! Coincidentally, it was St. Valentine's day, so I brought my partner Bev along with me. We had the best stay at the Angel Inn, all the staff were amazing, the proprietor Bill was great fun, nothing was a problem and we had a tremendous time. The rooms are beautiful, the shower had the best pressure of any shower I've ever witnessed, and the food was fabulous! The seafood sharing platter starter was a feast in itself, and the steak main was perfectly cooked. There was also a wonderful Jazz duo entertaining us. Breakfast was also brilliant, the poached eggs I had were equal to the poached eggs I had at The Ritz. The Angel Inn was so good, after we checked out we both thought it a good idea to stay there again the following night. So we did. And it was equally wonderful. Thank you to the Angel Inn and their staff for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back! A real credit to the pub & hospitality industury. We enjoyed our stay at the Angel Inn. The room was spacious and comfortable and ours had a modern ensuite bathroom. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good with a wide choice.
