Was in town for a convention at the Convention Center which was only about a 1/2 mile / 10-15 minute walk away. Chipotle across the street was a lifesaver. Near the Balboa Theater if you’re in town to see a play/ show. Lots of restaurants in the Gaslight District. Petco Park next to Convention Center. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Room very clean. Bed comfortable. Short bus ride for $2.50 to the airport should you choose to bypass Uber or a taxi. Only gripe I had was the TV in the room didn’t work properly and I needed maintenance to fix it each night. Otherwise, no complaints.

It was an excellent stay. All the hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating.

This is a huge, busy hotel. Our room was large, clean and properly equipped, if unexciting. Plastic and paper cups were a cheap touch but the towels were wonderful. There was no view. Our bar experience was disappointing, with only one working bartender and no table service for a rather large crowd. The breakfast was impressive with fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, pancakes and pastries. Even at 7 am it was crowded, although there was plenty of seating, by the time we left, all the tables looked to be taken. Great location for walking the Fisherman's Wharf area and walking distance to our cruise dock.

Very noisy room- complained to staff but nothing changed. No cups in the room. Dark light in bathroom. Probably wouldn’t stay again. Convenient location though .

Here’s a polished version for a hotel review: We really enjoyed our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Berkeley Marina. We were in town for a graduation and were glad we chose something a little removed from campus. The waterfront setting made it feel like a relaxing retreat, and César Chávez Park right next door was a wonderful spot for a morning jog. In the evenings, we enjoyed the fire pits, and the indoor pool was a nice bonus. Our room was simple, clean, and comfortable. While the furnishings felt a bit dated, everything was very well maintained and spotless. My only complaint is the parking fee. At $45 per night plus taxes and fees, it ended up costing nearly $50 per night, which felt excessive. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.
