The hotel is very clean, quiet, and the staff are kind and attentive. I do wish they had more options for the buffet breakfast, however the food that was served was fresh and cooked well.

First time in Portugal, so we hadn’t heard of the Martinhal properties before booking the trip. We stayed in various areas but ended in Lisbon, where we stayed at Martinhal Chiado. The front staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, and even gave us a heads up about departing from LIS (itself a challenging experience). We were quickly introduced to the kids club, and were warmly welcomed there as well - the kids ended up loving it there and never wanted to leave! The rooms were very spacious, complete with a full kitchen and a combo washer/dryer. Our room had a leak so we were quickly relocated to an even larger apartment room, this one with a loft. Very impressive! The location is excellent, within blocks of Time Out Market and the tram station. There’s street parking only, but you won’t need a car anyway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are grateful to the staff who went above and beyond to make us feel at home!

"Hotel was really nice and room was great. The food in the restaurant however was average. We had to send our meal back ( we never ever do this) they exchanged it for something else and that was just as bad so we just left it. Other than that staff were great and was lovely atmosphere"

"The hotel is located on top of a hill. Far from the city center. Walking down the hill is easier than walking up to it. We took Uber to and from the hotel every time. Which adds to the cost. However, the panoramic view of the city from the hotel was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. ..."
