"The cottages are great! Have everything you need to escape the city. We aren't big on fishing, but if you are, this place would be amazing for you. Fishing boats + an area for cleaning fish is available. The pool is great! The water is a little chilly, but a great reprieve on a hot day. The only negative is if you have a dog with you, there arent a ton of places to walk them that aren't just around other people's properties or a short drive away. But it was great to have ours in the yard with us. The beds are super comfortable - Endy mattresses, we were pleasantly surprised. The shower head position could use some work (a rainfall shower head would make more sense with the size of the shower), but thats as to be expected at a cottage. Would definitely book here again!"

"The house was spacious, well-appointed and very quiet. The main problem for us was that there was no Wi-Fi. This surprised us. There was a smart TV, but we could not stream anything because there was no Wi-Fi. Also, the cellular signal was very weak (we use Koodo/Telus). My husband could not complete some work he wanted to do because of the lack of Wi-Fi. The very weak cellular signal meant he could not hotspot off his phone either. We enjoyed using the barbeque and the fire pit."

"My wife and I stayed there for a night in the Honeymoon room. Amenities were great, Kimberly was extremely welcoming and accomodating. She texted ahead of our stay to ask about our meal preferences, and was available and replied promptly to any questions we had. Our room was clean and private. There was a nice little rooftop patio that we very much enjoyed hanging out on to end our evening. The home itself is charming and beautiful. The breakfast was far beyond our expectations. Amazing meal- and we will try our best to recreate those potatoes! If we are ever in that area again we will certainly be staying at Emilyville Inn. Had an amazing stay,"

"We had a fantastic stay. Waking up and enjoying a cup of tea with only the sounds of nature around you. We left all the stress of the city behind for the weekend. The cabin was adorable with everything we needed..the bed was so comfortable, it was hard to get out of it. 10/10 will be back. Carolyn and Paul were great hosts. Before we left we took a tour for the animal sanctuary. Which was the cherry on top of a great weekend"
