We had the most wonderful stay here for 3 days over easter. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, every part of it is carefully thought out. The decor is gorgeous, rooms spacious with lovely high ceilings and it is immaculately clean. The grounds are stunning, service and staff exceptional, i cannot think of one negative thing about our stay. Breakfast was also excellent and dinner in the restaurant the same with very reasonable pricing too for a 5 star hotel. A couple of minutes walk away are a couple of pleasant local restaurants and if you have a car, lots of hikes nearby. We loved every minute of our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Great stay! Location was perfect. We were able to walk to sites, shops and restaurants. Hosts were amazing. Kind and helpful, gave us an area overview and recommendations. Breakfast to the room every morning was more than expected! Convenient, plentiful and great selection of fresh food.

The property was very pretty. We had a classic suite, which was actually two adjoining rooms, so it was very spacious,with two bathrooms, a great bargain. We had dinner there once, and my meal was very good, but my wife's was awful. She had bthe cabrito, which was nothing but bones and tough sinew ...

Beautiful unusual property in peaceful hillside location, looking onto the forest. Enjoy watching the birds swoop, the view and the quiet! Easy day trips to Condeixa, Azeiro, Porto and Coimbra, but lazing by the pool is also wonderful!
