"The pros- the location is great. Even though it is right next to a multi-house rental the fence made the house feel private. The AC worked great. The house was always cool. The cons - The interior does not match the pictures. There is a different couch and different furniture. There were no paper towels and only a roll of toilet paper and 2 trash bags for 4 people staying 5 nights. We killed 2 stinging scorpions. It would of been nice to have a place (in the living room) to put belongs other...

"This is a perfect little place to clear your mind and enjoy nature while still having everything you need. The whole ranch is beautiful. The back deck is perfect for grilling and relaxing. Nice yard in front with a great porch to enjoy also."

"Close to everything! Beautiful view of Old Baldy in Garner State Park! Although we didn’t get to float (drought) we had fun playing in the river/pool. It was all within short walking distance! Very cute little cabin! Staff was very nice and friendly!"

"The location along the river, far from the noise of town was wonderful! The dark skies perfect for star gazing! We spent so much time outside on the patio. Nathan the caretaker was very kind, friendly, and checked in on us briefly each day to be sure all was well. A terrific getaway!"

"This house is small but just right for 2 people. Did not need the upstairs bunks. Had all the kitchen utensils needed. The only concern was the totally dry Sabinal River behind it. Property was clean and well-organized…everything in good working order. Quiet and comfortable."

"Great property and highly recommend! Our family of 6 (two adults and four teenagers) stayed at the treehouse during spring break 2024. We wanted a getaway in the Hillcountry off a river, and this property didn’t disappoint. Our favorite part was sitting on the deck overlooking the river and watching the sunset come up over the hills.
