"This was our first time visiting the Northern Neck and it won't be the last. From the moment we arrived, it was pure relaxation. The views we amazing and water views from every angle. There were peaceful sounds of nature and zero traffic noise. We enjoyed every quiet moment, even saw a Bald Eagle sitting on the beach while I drank my early morning coffee. The house itself far exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly spacious, clean, and thoughtfully laid out, every window offered a water view. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and recharge. "

"The cottage was clean, the discription was acurate,the attension to detail was outstanding.The rooms look like they were just renovated.The view from the deck was fantastic.The glasses, flatware and cookware looked new.Well worth the cost. There even was a binder with the history of the area and activity suggestions,We hated to leave."

"We had an amazing time on the river! We had planned on going out to explore but it was so relaxing and inviting in the home we didn't want to leave. We ending up getting groceries nearby and eating in.The views and river were excellent. I did quite a bit of fishing and if crabbing is your thing they are abundant off of the pier. There is also a BP by Dollar Geraral that has bait. We also took an 8 foot inflatable circular water hammock to float in the river on. Lisa the host was an absolute pleasure to work with and we will no doubt be back to enjoy her family home. "

"We were attending a family reunion. Great to wake up and look out to see the water. So relaxing and serene. Just enough space to relax and unwind. I would however suggest to the owner to put some railings on the patio. We had a few seniors who need that extra support when stepping up. The grands loved fishing from the pier."
