Combe Vacation Packages

The positive is that the room was nice. Clean, decently-appointed, what I would expect for the price. The negative is almost everything else. The place was clearly more concerned with their World Cup party in the pub, which doubled as their lobby, than ensuring guests had a nice experience during their stay. Later in the night I had to muscle my way through the pub just to get to the elevator to my room. They had an alternate entrance with a code lock…but I couldn’t get it to work and no one was available to help. Certainly not the rude bouncer who clearly didn’t remember that there were guests staying in the “hotel”. When I left in the morning, there was no one in sight and the door I came in through was bolted shut. I had to go back upstairs and find an alternate exit. No one had told me about locking the bottom floor so no one could exit. All in all I felt like it was extremely over-priced.

Helpful staff. Starbucks on site is convenient.

Good hotel. Would stay there again

I booked a deluxe king bed room. For the first night I was put in a room on the 6th floor where I was later told that the rooms on the 6th floor are smaller rooms. The remaining stay on the 2nd floor was great. Also, their room service food was great. I recommend this hotel - it is in a great location as well. Just do not stay in a room on the 6th floor.
