"Beds, bedding and pillows were very comfortable love the location as it has a huge parking lot and a great restaurant right in the same parking lot. Sitting out front is right on the river and we actually got to see seals and the fish jumping and eagle come in to try to get the fish Great place for four wheeling."

"Just an incredibly beautiful property and perfect little place for my spouse and two teens. Brought my kayak and paddled every day. My family and I hiked, picked blueberries and went whale watching. From the house we saw bald eagles, osprey, terns and all kinds of other birds in the air — plus seals and porpoises in the water. The fire pit was a great way to end each day. "

"This was a terrific stay and the host Ashley was fantastic! She responded quickly to my questions and was helpful with a couple of minor issues that came up. Quick to help solve the issues. She kept in great communication with the check in and check out and getting the indoor fireplace working. The property is stunning and so much fun to have those memories of our trip to Maine. There is plenty of room and storage for my family of 4, including 2 younger children. The kitchen is well stocked with most items that were needed. Everything was clean and usable. The outdoor space was wonderful to have, the picnic table made a great breakfast spot, the deck with a table and chairs, the outdoor tub was a fun bonus, and the fire pit was fantastic. The walk to the kayak/lake was easy taking 7-8 minutes, and the kids loved the wooded path. It was quiet and secluded and nice way to relax after many days of hiking, tide pooling, and other adventures. We really liked staying on the "quieter side" of Acadia and so close to Schoodic, Raven's nest, and a nice little gem of Tidal Falls preserve. We loved the space and feel of more of a home! Wonderful trip!"
